Transforming Lives

Established in 1952 by missionaries Guy Clutton Brock and his wife, Mukuvapasi Children’s Centre became one of the branches of the Jairos Jiri Association. The Centre is located in St Faith’s Communal Land, approximately 13.5 km from Rusape town. It is registered as a welfare organisation under the Welfare Organisations Act of 1966 (Registration No. W.O. 327/68).
With a capacity to accommodate up to 100 children at any given time, Mukuvapasi Children’s Centre provides care and support to learners from Early Childhood Development (ECD) through to A Level. Currently, the Centre is home to 55 children — 30 boys and 25 girls — who come from various backgrounds.
