Nyamuwanga Inclusive Model School
Jairos Jiri Association Nyamuwanga Inclusive Model school is the only MIEF school in Mudzi District Mashonalad East. Established in 1969 and was opened to be a Jairos Jiri inclusive school in 2011, it provides various services, including education, vocational training, healthcare, and rehabilitation.
JJ Nyamuwanga has a total of 424 learners, of which 22 stays at halfway home being Fortnite boarders. There are 17 professional staff, 5 of which are in resource units. We have a total of 40 learners with disabilities of which 28 are in resource units and the rest in mainstream. We have 5 auxiliary staff that is a bursar, two security guards and two care givers minding the halfway home.
We have resource units that is visual impairment, intellectual challenges and hearing impairment. Those with physical challenges are in the mainstream. JJ Nyamuwanga school participates in all the school’s noncurricular activities.
